    Episode 1.9 - It's Not a Sprint, It's a(n Actual) Marathon

This week I will be talking about how training for my first marathon helped me heal from an assault.

(TW: I will be referencing sexual assault in this episode but I will not go into any detail of the event itself.)

I will describe some of the long term, everyday effects one single trauma can have. I will share how (barring any medical restrictions) running a marathon is achievable even - or especially - for the imperfect among us.
