    "Nashville Recording Artist Singer/Songwriter Lee Newton, came from humble beginnings. Having seen her share of hard times growing upa small town in Western North Carolina, she started singing in church when she was five years old when her Mother would take her. Lee’s love of music grew as a child when her Daddy played country classics like Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette and Patsy Cline around the house. Lee’s father, a cab driver, taught her to play the guitar at age seven and they would sing together while she rode around town with him in his taxi going on calls. “My Daddy, who named me Brenda Lee after the amazing country singer, would always tell me one day you will be playing at the Grand Ole Opry and from that point on I knew I wanted to be a performer.” Heavily influenced by legendary musicians like Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, The Judds Lorrie Morgan Susan Tedischi and Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lee’s personal sound is a mix between traditional Country and raspy Blues with an added Southern Rock flare. When Lee was 20 years old, she joined a couple of bands and taught herself to play the drums. She travelled to New York City and had the privilege of singing backup for Artimus Pyle, Leslie Hawkins and JoJo Billingsly – three original members of Lynyrd Skynyrd. In 2020, Lee won “Vocalist of the Year” at the Josie Music Awards. Her 2021 EP Undamaged, which she wrote, won “EP Album of the year” at Josie Music Awards and also Top 20 Best of 2021 for Women of Country. Lee’s newest full length album UNLEESHED, was released April, 2022. Lee wrote 9 of the songs on it. She won “Album of the year” at the Josie Music Awards show that was held at The Grand Ole Opry. She also was nominated for Song of the year with Carolina, and Artist of the year for Women of Country Best of 2022. Daughter of Stacy and Colonel Edward J Benz III, she was born in Oklahoma, learned to ride horses in North Carolina, fell in love with rodeo as a young Westernaire in Colorado, and spent her high school years in Georgia. Abigail is a graduate of Auburn University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Global Studies. As an undergraduate, Abigail studied abroad in Italy and completed an internship working to eradicate human trafficking in Nepal. Following graduation, she worked in the professional sports industry where she managed community engagement and foundation operations. Abigail is now a proud resident of the Natural State where she is furthering her education at the University of Arkansas, Abigail manages Glitter N’ Dirt, a brand that sparks empowerment and a passion for the western way of life and operates a western boutique in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Abigail is excited to continue to promote her platform, Cowgirl Courage, a registered nonprofit organization. The mission of Cowgirl Courage is to educate and empower everyone to “Speak Up, Stand Up, and Saddle Up” with courage in any situation. She supports advocacy centers that work to prevent injustices including human trafficking, bullying and increased suicide rates in Veterans from happening by inspiring a generation of confident and courageous cowboys and cowgirls. Abigail has a passion for helping others achieve their fullest potential and biggest dreams despite any obstacle life throws their way. In the future, Abigail plans to attend a top tier law school with a joint MBA program. She hopes to continue to make a significant impact on the lives of men, women and children around the world through both Cowgirl Courage and Glitter N’ Dirt. Abigail is a lifelong equestrian who will continue to spend hours in the saddle barrel racing, roping and riding with her family on Glitter N’ Dirt Ranch. As Miss Rodeo Arkansas 2023, Abigail will aid and promote the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and the rodeo, equine and agricultural industries that encompass the western way of life. She will travel nearly 50,000 miles across the United States and will make appearances at rodeos, military installations, schools and clubs creating awareness about the sport of rodeo, as well as empowering everyone to have Cowgirl Courage. Abigail will represent the Natural State at the Miss Rodeo America 2024 Pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada in December 2023.

    "Pull Yourself Up by the Boot Straps" is Addisen's platform for this year's Miss Teen Rodeo USA Pageant. Not only does this young lady have true grit and determination, but she is the epidome of what it means to truly Be a Dreamcatcher. After suffering a traumatic brain injury, her future was uncertain as to whether or not she would ever be able to step foot back in a saddle, let along be on her way to Shawnee, OK to compete for one of the most coveted titles any girl can dream of. In Addisen's eyes, her future was certain... She was getting back on a horse, even after doctor's advised against it. Fast forward a few year later and we have an extremely talented young equestrian who rides a minimum of 5 horses each day, works feverishly to accomplish her goals, and is a cowgirl who has defied all odds in becoming one of the biggest inspirations to her peers. You may ask, well what is a Mark 5 rig? "The Mark V diving rig was used by the U.S. Navy for deep sea and salvage diving from 1916 through the early 1980s. Designed for intensive diving operations and to provide maximum physical protection, the Mark V allowed divers to work at much deeper depths than had previously been possible" (U.S. Naval Undersea Museum. https://navalunderseamuseum.org) This is one of John's specialities to say the least. Classic Diving LLC, is just one of John's business endeavours as he continues to serve in the U.S. Navy and offers classes on the Mark V "standard dress" and heavy metal diving!
