Episode 28: You Should Learn to Create Wealth by Becoming an Angel Investor. Here is WHY!

Episode 28: You Should Learn to Create Wealth by Becoming an Angel Investor. Here is WHY!
In this very personal and direct video/podcast message, Karen Rands shares the financial and emotional benefits of being an Angel Investor -- whether you claim it as a Compassionate Capitalist, Silent Partner, Right Quadrant Business Owner & Investor, or Crowdfunding Investor.    Karen shares her 'aha moment' of realizing that 7 Million people in the USA collect a pay check that easily puts them into the income bracket to invest and own small amounts of other entrepreneurs' businesses in order to share in their financial success without all the risks of starting and owning that business themselves.   The average rate of return for the angel investor, that takes time to learn how to evaluate the merits of an entrepreneur's opportunity and develop a diversified portfolio, far exceeds that of real estate and the stock market.  Karen will be offering a special opportunity in June - Hump Month - for those investors who plan to invest in a private company this year.  To get details of the deal, Investors need to sign up for access to the ISAV Resource Portal and their free entry level membership in the National Network of Angel Investors by then.  Find the access code in her book Inside Secrets to Angel Investors.    Get the book (PB $19.95 / Kindle $9.99 on Amazon) http://InsideSecretstoAngelInvesting.com ASAP so you won't miss this opportunity that will save investors time and money and potentially their entire angel investment.    Not sure -- get the free ebook - 12 Inside Secrets explained http://bit.ly/Get12SecretsEbook Get access to all episodes of The Compassionate Capitalist Movement and links to the podcast player platform at http://karenrands.co/blog Watch Video: https://youtu.be/2p-LM3g3CdQ

Episode 30: Wealth Creation Tips using Equity Crowd Funding - with Karen Rands

Episode 30: Wealth Creation Tips using Equity Crowd Funding - with Karen Rands
The Legalization of Equity Crowd Funding was the catalyst for the great Economic Democratization of the Capital Markets.  Although crowdfunding started with reward based, the advent of the JOBS Act in 2012 introduced 4 ways to raise equity capital from the crowd.  The expanded pool of additional investors are not your typical angel investors.  These 4 methods remove the invisible wall between entrepreneurs and their potential investors.  There is still great confusion on how to best use equity crowdfunding to raise capital, and even more so, how traditional retail stock investors can get involved in a low risk way and start investing in the entrepreneurs with 'unicorn potential' or the small business owners that are well established and are seeking an amount of growth capital that is not available from their bank and they don't fit a Venture Capitalist or Private Equity Fund criteria. They can be as solid of an investment as a retail stock, but with much greater upside potential.  The 4 methods to solicit from the general public, to crowd fund, are not created equal.  Each has it's unique benefits to entrepreneurs and investors.  Watch and Listen as Karen explains the difference in the 4 equity Crowd Funding, Direct Public Offering methods:  Intrastate Exemption (Reg D 504), Reg D 506c, Reg CF and Reg A+.  Get the book that launched a movement, Inside Secrets to Angel Investing :  Step-by-Step Strategies to Leverage Private Equity Investment for Passive Wealth Creation.  YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/O_M27XJDIbY

Episode 29: Angel Investing – Who, What, Why, & How to Make Millions Investing in Entrepreneurs

Episode 29: Angel Investing – Who, What, Why, & How to Make Millions Investing in Entrepreneurs
In this segment of the Compassionate Capitalist Podcast, Karen Rands responds to an entrepreneur's question:  What is an Angel Investor?   Since 2012, the definition and the game to attract angel investors has changed.  Once considered only an activity available for an exclusive group of entrepreneurs turned investors, the access to capital and those who can invest in an entrepreneur's success to share that wealth all changed with the passage of the JOBS Act to stimulate the economy. Angel Investing is the 2nd best source for creating generational wealth, but less than 5% of the US public knows about it. Karen explains the history and evolution of angel investing and the good news: the wall between entrepreneurs and would-be investors has been removed, creating opportunity for financial success through entrepreneurism for the founders and the investors.  Listen and learn the 4 ways entrepreneurs can solicit for investors from the general public of potential investors outside of the structured angel network funnel--- and the four easy ways ANYONE with disposable income and liquidity in their investment strategy can invest in entrepreneurs from startup to growth stage, in their community or thousands of miles away.   Karen also shares the emotional and financial benefits investors have shared with her when investing in cool innovation and brilliant entrepreneurs.  Get Karen's bestselling primer about angel investing Inside Secrets to Angel Investing, see what is in the resource portal and see sample content at http://InsideSecretsToAngelInvesting.com Learn how Karen's team help investors get started, screen deals, conduct due diligence and syndicate the deals they like with the National Network of Angel Investors - http://kugarand.com #Podcast #AngelInvesting #investing #angelinvestor #JOBSact #crowdfunding #entrepreneur YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/WwksqOkKL9s

Episode 27: What Would This Compassionate Capitalist Do with $1OOM or even $1M?

Episode 27: What Would This Compassionate Capitalist Do with $1OOM or even $1M?
How would you answer the question:  What would you do if you were given $100M no questions asked ?  How would you benefit the world with that gift that would compound the impact? That is what Karen was asked at a recent entrepreneur/investor event she attended.  Well not exactly.  Not the part about benefiting the world or compounding the impact.  That is just how she thinks.   As the founder of the Compassionate Capitalist Movement, it is on her heart to leave a legacy, her 'thumbprint' on the world, that amplifies wealth creation through increasing the available capital actively seeking qualified entrepreneur endeavors to invest in and produce a multiple on that money so that it can be reinvested again and again and again.  In this episode, Karen talks about the Compassionate Capitalist Movement, and the actions she would take, the programs she would create, and types of projects she would lead investment in if she was blessed with such a financial gift (or investment, or sponsorship) whether $100M, $10M, $1M or even $100K.  An investment in her vision for the Compassionate Capitalist Show as the megaphone for the Compassionate Capitalist Movement would accellerate the delivery of education, workshops, deal syndication, and wealth for the entrepreneurs and investors that join. Episode 24: Celebration of Juneteenth - Black Prosperity - Past, Present & Future

Episode 24: Celebration of Juneteenth - Black Prosperity - Past, Present & Future
This episode of the Compassionate Capitalist Show Podcast will explore the history of black enterprise, racial policies intended to aid in economic prosperity and racist practices that created barriers and obstacles to African American prosperity. True equality comes with economic prosperity. The Compassionate Capitalist Podcast will explore the history of black enterprise, and government policies intended to aid in economic prosperity, and the racist practices that created barriers and obstacles to African American prosperity so that wealth and education gap which exists today has its roots dating back to the late 1800.  History shows time and time again how naive, well intentioned white people, in the spirit of compromise, released authority and control to other white people that had a sole intent to harm and hinder black people from achieving equality - socially and economically. There are many examples of progress being made and initiatives seeking to grow black entrepreneurship, wealth creation, and reinvestment into the communities that have been neglected and abandoned.   As we look forward with these new sources of funding and entrepreneur development, we must also look back to see how to fix the fissure that over a 100 years of systemic racism has caused in our communities.  If you are opposed to giving hand outs, then give a hand up.  Work to get the loopholes that enable racists to harm and prevent the success and empowerment of people of color out of our financial, judicial, and legislative systems.
