Laila shares her story of growing up on the reservation and coming into her own as a native trans woman. Claiming your own identity isn't a walk in the park for some, especially as a native trans woman. Laila brings us a wealth of knowledge to the table and is eager to share her story as she had to learn how to fight and stand up for herself. By carving a way for her own indigenous space we'll be able to take in a fraction of a difficult life turned into a new life of fruitful work, advocacy work, giving back, and staying true to your identity.
