Who's your friend when things get tough?! This week on Puppet Masters of None, Ben and Will dive deep into the history of the 1969 classic children's television series H. R. Pufnstuf. From the creative minds of Sid and Marty Kroft, Pufnstuf tells the story of Jimmy and his magic flute friend, Freddy as they try to find their way home from an island of living objects headed by a drag-dino-ish...thingy? Mix all that nonsense with a dollar store wicked witch of the west named witchy-poo and you have a drug induced fever dream that only 1969 could bring us. How does this trippy explosion of color and song hold up to modern scrutiny? Find out when we place it on the Space to Carol scale!

Learn how the amazing special effects team pulled off one of the most impressive live action puppets to ever grace the silver screen. Marvel at the complete lack of CGI or even composite shots. Get your heart broken along with us as we watch this cinematic masterpiece take off to such lofty heights, only to crash and burn on the Space to Carol spectrum due to a terrible re-shot ending. Love it or hate it, this movie is impressive....but whatever they offer you, DON'T FEED THE PLANTS!

Let the wild rumpus start! This week on Puppet Masters of None, Ben and Will dissect a great film based on an amazing book, 2009's Where the Wild Things Are. Join the conversation as we discuss our takes on this live action adaptation of the beloved children's classic. Does it hold up to the book? This week, Ben and Will review the 2005 Jim Henson Company fantasy film, MirrorMask. This strange and trippy movie was penned by famed writer and storyteller Neil Gaiman and directed by artist Dave McKean. Join us as we enter this bizarre CGI world and try to make sense of a rather...interesting plot. The Space to Carol spectrum debate heats up with this one as both the Puppet Masters have very different takes on this unusual cult film.
