    About this Episode

In this episode, I want to share with you the 4 Lessons I took from William H McRaven’s Book - "Make Your Bed: Feel grounded and think positive in 10 simple steps".

Make Your Bed is based on Admiral William H. McRaven's commencement speech to the University of Texas at Austin's graduating class. McRaven discusses the ten lessons he learned from Navy SEAL training in it. They are simple lessons about overcoming the trials of SEAL training, but the ten lessons are equally applicable to dealing with life's challenges—regardless of who you are.

Stoicism is a life philosophy that promotes positive emotions, reduces negative emotions, and helps people develop character virtues. Stoicism offers a framework for living well at any time and in any circumstance.

Episode #63 - 5 Simple Things You Should Do If Today Was Your Last Day on Earth

Episode #63 - 5 Simple Things You Should Do If Today Was Your Last Day on Earth

In this episode, I want to share with you the 5 Things You Should Do If today Was Your Last Day on earth. This episode is inspired by a podcast I recently listened where the host pondered the question:

"What would you do if today was your last day?"

It had been inspired after he had read “The Monk who sold his Ferrari” by Robin Sharma.

I had also recently read about Bronnie Ware, an Australian palliative nurse who spent years taking care of the dying, individuals who were in the last three months of their lives.

She recorded their dying epiphanies in a blog which gathered so much attention that she put her observations into a book called The Top Five Regrets of the Dying.

The podcast and the article about Bronnie Ware got me thinking about what would I do if today was my last day on earth.
