She was awarded a very prestigious award from L'Oréal cosmetics, who also supports her non-profit business.     In this episode I interviewed Liz, the founder of Ruby's rainbow in honor of her daughter Ruby who has down syndrome.  Ruby's rainbow is an organization that provides scholarships to those who have down syndrome and who want to go to college.  This organization gives away thousands of dollars in scholarship money that is all raised through awareness, donations, and fundraising.  Are you ready to get down!

    A night to shine is a special prom event for those in the special needs community.  The event is sponsored by the Tim Tebow foundation.  The event is hosted by five hundred churches all over the world simultaneously.  The special guests are treated like royalty with dinner, dancing, karaoke, pictures, makeup, shoe shining, and limo rides.  In this episode I spoke with a local event coordinator who talks all about the event and what to expect.  Are you ready to get down!
