    enNovember 24, 2017

    About this Episode

So we sat down and had a few beers whilst chatting about the previous 25 episodes since our last review show. Drunken, vulgar, obnoxious, rambling nonsense. If this is your first Robots For Eyes show, stop now and check out a topic based show.

Eps 339. End of Season 1

Tom and Rob sit down for a few beers for the last episode in Season 1. We’ve gotta take a break due to real world commitments but don’t panic, its not the end of RFE. In the meantime there’s literally hundreds of past episode to go back though and over a hundred episodes on Patreon too. Sit tight and we’ll be back as soon as we can.

Eps 337. The 2023 UAP Hearing.

On the 26th July The House Oversight Committee heard testimony from three witnesses: David Grusch, a former U.S. intelligence official; David Fravor, a former Navy commander; and Ryan Graves, a former Navy pilot. Graves and Fravor both claim to have encountered UAPs over the ocean, Grusch  claimed the U.S. has retrieved "intact and partially intact" vehicles of nonhuman origin and nonhuman biology. We discussed the testimonies of the witnesses.

    Eps 336. Bob Ross

Bob Ross, full name Robert Norman Ross was an absolute legend. Having spent his formative years in the Air Force eventually earning himself the title of Master Drill Sergeant – Ross came to realise shouting orders was very much against his natural temperament so started attending Art Classes offered by the Air force. From there the rest was history and Ross was to become a much loved household name filming a total of 403 episodes over 31 seasons of the Joy of Painting.

Retro RFE. Eps 65. Juliane Koepcke

Juliane Koepcke was flying home over the Peruvian jungle with her mother on Christmas eve 1971. The airplane encountered a violent thunderstorm and was struck by lightning. The plane broke apart and Juliane fell 2.5 miles to the jungle floor below. Unbelievable she survived but wasn’t out of the woods yet, she now had the jungle to deal with. This is a mad survival story, Juilane is one tough cookie.

We had multiple requests to cover the Titan this week. We discussed the tragic loss of the small submersible with 5 crew members onboard whilst on a tourist expedition to the wreck of the Titanic which resides 2.5 miles below the surface of the Atlantic Ocean.

Retro RFE. Eps 129. Anatoly Moskvin, The Russian Puppeteer

This is the insane story of Anatoly Moskvin. A highly educated Russian Professor, academic and linguist who spoke 13 languages and taught Celtic studies at university...he was also an authority on local cemeteries....that last one is an indication of his favourite hobby.....collecting dead children.

    Eps 334. Rolf Harris.

Australian musician, television personality, painter and actor who often used unusual instruments like the didgeridoo and the stylophone in his performances. With decades upon decades on television Harris was well loved and highly decorated, until he wasn’t, when he was convicted in England in 2014 of the sexual assault of four underage girls. This not only achieved his catastrophic fall from grace for Harris, but sent him to jail at the age of 84. He served 3 years of a nearly 6 year sentence!
