In the span of a singularly beautiful chapter, John 8, we see Jesus coming to terms with the broken--a woman caught in adultery, facing a death sentence--and the self-righteous.  As we will hear from Tyler and Tammy Collins today, Jesus does this all with His inimitable grace and truth.

Teaching Sophomore Bible, Tyler serves as the chair of Northwest Christian's Bible department.  And, Tammy serves administratively as the hub of the front office.  Together, their impact within the school and the community it serves is profound.

As we will learn today, education in Australia is different.  Very different.  Without the stringent separation between church and state that we find in the U.S., the Australian government uses public funding to support both public and private schools.  As a result, close to half of Australian students are enrolled in private education with many of these young people enrolled in faith-based schools.

But, there's a catch.

In Australia, the government requires strict financial reporting of these schools.  Paul Campey, an Aussie with feet in both the CPA world and the world of Christian education founded Resolve Consultants in order to stand in the gap.  Paul developed a thorough reporting instrument that both provides the Australian government with the peace of mind that they are seeking and the ability for Australian Christian schools to glean a clear understanding of their financial standing and sustainability.

Having run this program for years, establishing a baseline for sustainable, financial performance through developing a series of Key Performance Indicators, Paul began to wonder how Australian baselines compared against American baselines.  He was stunned to discover that no one in the U.S. was doing the sort of financial analysis that he was providing.

Today, we will hear Paul's story, learn how Grand Canyon University worked to bring Resolve to the U.S., and how American Christian ed is performing generally.

More to the point, having now done two analyses of Northwest Christian School over three years, Paul will reveal--candidly and forthrightly--how NCS is faring today and how it will likely fare in the years to come!

Elijah Mizsak has been doing theater for ten years with multiple theater companies.  But, as a Christ follower, he soon began to see a growing disconnect between his personal faith and aspects of the productions in which he was involved.

So, in 2021, as a young man still in his teens, Elijah took a chance.  A big chance.

Elijah started Patriot Productions, a community theater program rooted in the mission of bringing glory to God, providing performance opportunities to young people serious about their faith, and allowing for a forum for good, safe family fun.  Today, we'll hear about his journey to start an independent community theater program and the courage required to follow God's leading.

As part of an update on Northwest Christian's unconventional building campaign, today's episode presents an opportunity to see how "Build Here" and "Build There" are both working together to further God's Kingdom purposes simultaneously in Phoenix, Arizona and Rwanda, Africa.

"Unconventional" may be an understatement.  When BHBT was announced two years ago, the school recognized that if Biblical worldview was the mission-specific objective of the school, then it needed to be made manifest in every aspect of the school, including this building program.  Given that "sacrificial generosity" is an element within Biblical worldview, the school communicated that it would be taking a portion of the BHBT proceeds and distributing those to five vital Missions Learning partners, including the City of Joy Christian School in Rwanda where NCS students and staff serve both virtually and physically.

Today, G and Geoff are joined by Jon Coughlin, the City of Joy president, to hear how those funds are impacting his school in Africa.  At the same time, as evidence of the beautiful synergy that can happen when ministries work together, today, as this episode is published, the walls on Northwest Christian's new classroom building are going up in Phoenix.

Born blind and with a life-threatening genetic kidney disorder, Scott MacIntyre has had plenty of excuses to be discouraged.  Nevertheless, his indomitable disposition, self-effacing sense of humor, and realization of joy in Christ has kept him on a course that has allowed him to use his abundant musical gifts for the glory of God.

Along the way, that course led him to the upper echelons of contestants within American Idol.  But, that was just the start of an amazing journey!
