As the daughter of a police officer and granddaughter of a firefighter, she has a true passion for research that informs mental health-related interventions for first responders, enhances communication surrounding mental health, and improves access to support.

    Today, we join Nicole as she talks with George Logan, the director of community relations at Aquarion Water Company. He previously served as a member of the Connecticut State Senate from 2017 to 2021. He and Nicole discuss his career, giving back, and experiences.

    1. Serving our communities in any way we can is essential - while so many people are busy and might have a lot on their plate, even just doing one thing makes such a difference in these communities
    2. The goal in my life is to find happiness and to maintain happiness - I do that by being the best I can be and being there for my family, etc.
