Fantastic Four

Ryan and Brent are joined this week by Don Pudlowski as they discuss the first of the Wolverine Origin films. What was meant to be the start of multiple Origin films just turned out to be a bit of a dud. But that doesn't stop the guys from talking about the movie, what they liked and having several beverages along the way.

This film has 3 of the most popular X-Men (introduction of Gambit & Deadpool), what could go wrong?!

This month the guys watch and discuss a very controversial Marvel film, Punisher Warzone.  One of the worst reviewed Marvel films has a lot of issues, but entertainment and boring is not one of them!

The movie gets ridiculous in all the right ways and the guys are pleasantly surprised. Frank Castle might actually shoot more guns than he has lines in this film.

What a difference a studio and a director make for the "Big Green Guy."  The MCU's Incredible Hulk had a low bar to clear after the roughness that was Ang Lee's Hulk.

We Made It!! Finally getting to the MCU after a year and a half of going through the highs and lows of early Marvel movies.

This month the guys talk about the millionaire playboy philanthropist with a heart of Arc Reactor.  AC/DC brings the sound, RDJ brings the humor and poor Terrance Howard talked his way out of the most financially successful movie world.

I AM IRRRRROOOONNNNN MAN

One of the few sequels to fall short of the original, so far, in the Marvel catalog. A classic character in the Silver Surfer is introduced but can he make in impact on the film?

This is the last movie before the MCU starts up and not a moment to soon!

We are right around the corner from the MCU starting with Iron Man. But until then, the guys will settle for one of the most famous super heroes, Spider-Man. 

The final Tobey Maguire vehicle (well until No Way Home) and the first attempt at Venom.  

Will Spiderman-3 age like a fine wine or will the guys need to have extra drinks to enjoy the movie?

Nick Cage. CGI (he paid for?). Marvel. What more could you want from a movie?

This month, the guys welcome Brandon back to the show to watch and talk about one of the more outside the box Marvel movies up to this point (and maybe since).

Will they love it or need more drinks to get through it?

The Last Stand for the X-Men? Well not entirely as there have been 7 X-men movies since this 2006 "Final Stand" came out. (9 if you want to include the 2 Deadpool movies).  

The chapter closes on the team that brought audiences to see super hero movies. Some classic new characters are introduced and others say goodbye (for now).

The guys are joined by Cody this week as they dive into the 2005 Marvel Film Fantastic Four. Now it might not be the greatest Marvel movie, but it sure as hell beats the 1994 version as well as the most recent remake in 2015.

The sequel nobody wanted, to a movie that nobody really cared for gets a plot that is held together with duct tape and spit.  We are only a couple years away from Robert Downey Jr saving Marvel. The guys crack open some beers, watch and discuss Elektra on this month's episode.
