Welcome to The Bible Is Metal. In today’s episode, Ben and Levi wrestle with a difficult story in the Bible involving both incest and sexual assault. In king David’s own family, the man known for being after God’s own heart failed to be a godly parent to his children of many wives and it resulted in sexual abuse and abstraction of justice. This story by itself offers no redemption in sight, but we can trust that even though many people seem to get away with the worst of crimes, God himself will one day deal out perfect justice for every sinful act from the greatest to the least.
