They sabotage their financial future. This ensures they stay broke pretty much forever.   The reality is many will never actually realize their dreams of becoming financially successful. It is not because they can't.

This episode addresses the 10 most common reasons why people are broke. Listeners are given suggestions to avoid these mistakes.

    Sexual Ungh-Unghs

There are many types of sex. Popular pornography sites have 20 or more genres of sexual activity viewers may select. Each person experiences sexual stimulation differently. Typical sexual behaviors are more socially acceptable than an atypical (uncommon) sexual act.

According to WebMD, Paraphilias are abnormal sexual behaviors or impulses characterized by intense sexual fantasies and urges that keep coming back. The urges and behaviors may involve unusual objects, activities, or situations that are not usually considered sexually arousing by others.

These people cannot function properly sexually. It may also be a source of significant distress. Paraphilias can lead to social, personal, and career problems. Those living with a paraphilia may be called "kinky" or "perverted." The associated behaviors may also have serious social and legal consequences. Particualalary; if there is no consent solicited.

It is not clear what causes paraphilia. Some experts believe it is caused by childhood trauma. Others suggest that objects or situations can become sexually arousing if they are frequently and repeatedly associated with a pleasurable sexual activity. In most cases, the individual with paraphilia has difficulty developing personal and sexual relationships with others.

In this episode, we define common and uncommon paraphilias.  The intensity and occurrence of fantasies associated with paraphilia are explored. Listeners are made aware of the fixations in paraphilic sexual behavior.

    Bad Intentions. Good Vibes

    Bad Intentions. Good Vibes

Malice is the culprit intended for bad intentions! Why else would anyone not reveal something? They intentionally desire to taunt.

Nonetheless, most folks do not cause problems. They want to help make the world better. How you treat people means the difference between someone who believes they can make a difference and someone who simply wants to stay out of trouble.

The Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) or Reasoned Action,  predicts an individual's intention to engage in a behavior at a specific time and place. The theory explains that people have self-control over their behavior. Its key component is behavioral intent.

Behavioral intentions are influenced by the attitudes and behaviors of expected outcomes. Discussing those intentions can be rough. Especially when shinning the malicious light on people.

In this episode, good and bad intentions are addressed. Listeners are told a scenario of how one good intention, can lead to bad outcomes. The commonalities of good intentions "gone rogue", are also discussed.

    Overlooking STI Behaviors

    Overlooking STI Behaviors

Certain risk-taking bedroom activities can be thrilling. But are they really healthy? How can those risk benefit you?

The CDC reported 20 million STI infections to occur in the United States each year. Half of the infections happen with youth and young adults ages 15-24. Ironically, this age group is suffering from COVID-19 infections as well. Risky behaviors may be to blame.

Consequences of risk-taking behaviors are rarely thought about for youth and young adults.  At-risk behavior is anything that puts youth at risk for future negative consequences, like poor health, injury or death. And while risky behavior as a teen isn't a new concept (most adults can likely recall at least a few poor choices they made as a teen), the type of risks teens are taking are shifting. One of the reasons risky behavior is so common during adolescence is because the teen brain isn't yet fully developed.

In this episode we explore youth and young adult sexual risks for STIs. Tips to reduce or stop the spread of infections are given. The audience is made aware how STI's have impact US healthcare system too.

    Turn It Down Boo

    Turn It Down Boo

We are living life on the edge! Stressed communities, households, relationships, worship, and working spaces are all destinations where stress lives. Worry robs us of our power. We waste today worrying about tomorrow or, we waste tomorrow worrying about today.  Either way, the strain of the stress can lead to long-term chronic illness.

According to the American Psychological Association (APA), stress is a normal reaction to everyday pressures. It can become unhealthy when it upsets your day-to-day functioning.

In a recent Gallop Poll, the percentage of U.S. adults who evaluated their lives as "thriving" has dropped to 46.4%, matching the low point measured in November 2008 during the Recession. Today's thriving rate has worsened by about three percentage points since the first half of March and nearly 10 points since the spring of 2019.  Gallup Polls classify Americans as "thriving," "struggling" or "suffering" according to how they rate their current and future lives on a ladder scale with steps numbered from 0 to 10, based on the Cantril Self-Anchoring Striving Scale. Those who rate their current life a seven or higher and their anticipated life in five years an eight or higher are classified as thriving.

People are drowning in stress. In this episode, we define stress. The varying sources and types of stress are explored. We also provide suggestions to alleviate stressor symptoms.

If you or someone you know is experiencing extended symptoms of stress, seek immediate help! For more information click here.

    Body Image Entanglement

    Body Image Entanglement

What do you look like? Are you attractive? Do you have influence?  Body image is the mental representation an individual creates of themselves.

According to Psychology Today, body image may or may not relate to how one actually appears. It is subject to many distortions. The attitudes of one's parents, other early experiences, and internal elements like emotions or moods are the most common body image influencers.

Having dissatisfaction over a slight or undetectable defect in appearance is called body dysmorphic disorder. It is a severe obsession. The flaw influences the mind- causing it to dictate the way someone thinks, feels, or acts about life in general.

Zeroing in on a specific area like the nose, breasts, or arms is common. In reality, the perceived flaw is not noticeable to others. People who suffer from severe levels of body dysmorphia obsesses over a flaw until it creates dysfunction.

In this episode, we define body image. A discussion of what others may think about personal appearance is analyzed. Listeners are given suggestions for accepting, improving, and respecting their body image.

    Addict Attraction

Having an addiction is having a dependence on a particular activity, substance, or thing.  Addiction is a problem within America today. Alcohol, drugs, food, gambling, pornography, sex, smoking, and much more. Many addicts think that simply having enough willpower is enough for them to stop their addiction. However, having willpower is not enough.

Making a lasting behavior change is not a simple process. It involves a lot of time, emotion, and commitment. Being intimately involved with someone who is suffering from addiction can feel like a rattlesnake bite! While it is natural to want to help loved ones, enabling takes helping a step too far, where the addict has their needs taken care of while the enabler neglects his/her own.

According to the World Health Organization, the world's top three addictive substances are alcohol, heroin, and cocaine. The top three activities are eating, gambling, and sex.  Addictions are extremely common.

This episode uncovers addictive behaviors. We examine the science behind addiction's chaos. An enabler's role with an addict is also explored.  Actress Jada Pinkett Smith is used as a model to demonstrate the reality of addictions existing among celebrities. If you or a loved one is battling an addiction, please seek immediate help.
