Finding Your Spiritual Purpose

My time running The Spirits in Poetry has come to an end. There comes a time when we have to learn to let go and this is one of them. My 2024 has started with death as my dog transitioned to the spiritual world eleven days ago. And yet, life keeps going. Opportunities still come, pain is still felt, love is still to be found. 

Thank you to all of you who have listened to the podcast throughout the 4 years it's been running. Thank you to all of my friends who have supported. A million thank yous to Creator for the inspiration to begin this beautiful project.

This episode explores the importance of guarding yourself during this time where the world is in a chaotic place. This episode deconstructs the concept of guarding both physically and spiritually as well as different ways you can protect yourself.

Part of this comes from stepping away from the spiritual path and discovering more truths about my being. I heard once that once we become experts in one field we become fools in others. Sometimes this is the case with spirituality. 

This episode explores the importance of taking risks when it comes to performers. As artists we are always hitting wall and blockages. How do we reenergize ourselves and keep our performances/art fresh?

After a hiatus of several months, The Spirits in Poetry is back with a talk on spiritual reset. Sometimes we hit a point in our growth where we need to restart our journey from a beginning. We take everything we've learned and we let our minds be as malleable as a newborn child and challenge ourselves to see the world in a new way. 

 This episode deals with ambition and the advantages and consequences of cultivating it and allowing it to fill our lives. The truth is that in a capitalist world, we need ambition not just to thrive but to survive. In a world with limited resources, hunger is essential for the motivation to keep getting out of bed every day. However, this hunger has its own consequences.
