Getting the Work Done

Today's episode I talk mostly about getting started back up from spring, the things we have seen/done and what it is like to try to take more of a role as an owner. I also touch little on the CRM Jobber as I experiment with a new way of working! 

My take on how I would address getting started on my business for the first time in 2023 using a 5W system, who what when where why. 

By answering those questions you find the deep answer to why you want to get into the industry, what type of business you plan to operate and a good guideline to get you started. It's also the first steps to break free from the information black hole. 

Start now, find the answers out as you hit the roadblocks. You'll never be 100% ready.

On today's episode we catch up with where we are at, the season is just about done and we are tying up some loose ends with clean ups. We've had snow, we have more snow in the forecast and the name of the game is make money. Whether we are plowing or doing leaf clean ups, we just want to keep churning the money pot!

Electric equipment seemed to be the big topic this year at EQUIP and for BIG reasons. Some a little hotter than others (if you know you know), but the new mowers coming to market and the new hand held equipment is going to revolutionize our industry. Personally I think gas is here to stay for now, but listen in for more! 

Facebook groups and instagram among the other social medias can be ruthless for new entrepreneurs, content creators and the like. The can also be valuable resources. Don't be the guy/girl who has nothing positive to contribute. Everybody starts somewhere, let's grow together. 

Talk a little more about the F250 we purchased and why it makes sense. I'll have more of a breakdown of the truck to come.
