The youth are demanding change and are moving with change not seen in many years. The Black Lives Matter is a movement and she is part of it. We talk about Black Lives Matter as a global movement and supported throughout her community by the youth. She is articulate in expressing her responsibility and perspective to bridge the gap in understanding and mutual respect. She speaks to unity and the common struggles of the Tribes of the East. She talks about how she has been witness to the contrast of her reservation land and the super wealthy communities that surround them. The struggles are very real for the tribes: protecting the ancestors, protecting the land and water and the rights of sovereignty for the
original peoples.
