    Demystifying the Recruitment Process
    Sorority recruitment, the process where potential new members (PNMs) join a sorority, is centered on PNMs and current members learning more about each other. The conversations (and the process in general) can sometimes elicit feelings of both excitement and nervousness, no matter if it is in-person, hybrid, or all virtual. In this episode, you'll hear from two Delta Gammas, Lauren Delzell, Tau-Iowa, an alumna who serves as membership adviser and Cailey Hiam, Tau-Iowa, a collegian who serves as vp: Membership. They will help to demystify the recruitment process by providing great tips for PNMs as they prepare for recruitment.     Nikki (she/her)

    Nicki Rowlett (she/hers) is a DEI Strategiest and Practioner. Nicki has worked in higher education for eight years on various college campuses and for two NIC fraternities. She is the founder and Managing Director of the Parallel Agency, an organization that helps Panhellenic sororities align their words with their actions in areas of equity, access, and belonging, where she has engaged with over 15,000 people on related topics. Nicki holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Central Michigan University and a Masters Degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Ball State University. She is a proud member of Delta Phi Epsilon and is a long-term volunteer in the fraternal industry.

    Rachel Christine is a Gamma Phi Beta and currently serves as their Belonging and Inclusion Chairwoman and Alumnae Chapter Specialist Team Leader. She studied English Rhetoric, Political Science, Law, and Human Resources with an emphasis on Diversity and Inclusion. She currently works in Federal Healthcare Compliance, with a focus on healthcare equity for marginalized populations in the United States. She currently works with teams across the country advocating for and improving access and quality of care for those who need it most. 

    Chazz (he/him)

    Chazz Robinson is a doctoral student at the University at Buffalo pursuing his PhD in Higher Education Administration. Chazz has had several years of experience within higher education student affairs  (i.e. housing and residence life, advising, admissions, transitional/access programs). Additionally, Chazz has had the opportunity to intern for national education organizations such as ACUHO-I, NODA, and NY GearUp respectively. He has also served on the directorate board for the ACPAs graduate student and new professionals team. Currently, he is a Arthur A. Schomburg research fellow and holds leadership positions as the Co-Chair of the Social Justice and Inclusion Committee of University at Buffalo and also serves on the President's Advisory Council on Race. Chazz is interested in contributing great research to the educational knowledge base that can be used to make campuses more equal and equitable for those holding marginalized identities.
