Guns at the Mall of America: Good idea or bad idea? Legal or illegal?

On June 10th, hundreds of people gathered to remember Ron Rosenbaum. The speakers included Dan Barreiro, Audrey Glassman, Jim Rosenbaum, Todd Rapp, Deborah Sitkoff, and Ron's son, Nicholas Rosenbaum. In the words of Joe Friedberg, "if there could be a fitting send off to Ron Rosenbaum, it was. We all miss him. Following this week's New York primaries and Trump's landslide victory, we feature a few segments of two of our favorite episodes. First, we look back on our conversation with two Trump supporters when they came in-studio to make their case on why they support the Donald. Then we highlight a conversation with a Muslim American to discuss Donald Trump and his views on Muslims. 

Ron is back and in-studio, along with Todd Rapp and Lucy. They tackle the human rights issues in North Carolina and Mississippi in the wake of anti-LGBT laws being passed. They also discuss Minnesota's stance on the LGBT population, the presidential election, and Sammy's position as a Semi-Finalist to be a Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader.

Joe Friedberg and Michael Brodkorb join Lucy Quinlivan to discuss more controversy surrounding the Jamar Clark case and prosecution following an op-ed piece in the Star Tribune published by Steven Belton entitled, "Jamar Clark case: Freeman played dog-whistle politics in communicating the narrative." They also chat about the state of the presidential election, developments in the Grazzini-Rucki case, and more.

Joe Friedberg and Bob Bennett join Ron and Lucy over the phone to analyze every angle of the Jamar Clark case following the announcement made by the Hennepin County Attorney's Office that they will not be charging the officers involved in the fatal shooting of Clark.

Michael Bryant joins Lucy in studio as she welcomes Todd Rapp and constitutional law professor Joe Daly on the show to discuss the impact that the attacks in Brussels may have on the presidential election, the Kansas state legislature proposing to broaden grounds for impeachment of state Supreme Court justices, and more.

Following a very important Primary Day on March 15th, Todd Rapp joins Ron and Lucy to discuss the riots at Trump's rallies, Marco Rubio suspending his campaign, and the general state of the presidential race. Ron also tackles several issues including Hennepin County planning to cease using grand juries in officer-involved shootings.
