    About this Episode

Lucky Number 13.... In this episode we bring in Max's lifelong friend & adventure partner David Brown who we reference in almost every episode up to this point. David has worked in the music industry since the early 1980's, Produced Oliver Magnum, Guns N Roses, Forte, Udora & many more. They discuss how they met, some of the legendary shows they've gone to as well as getting lost en route to an Iron Maiden Show & ended up in the wrong city. David managed a band from Brazil called Diesel who changed their name to Udora. They showcased for Clive Davis & J Records with whom they ended up signing a record deal. David calls Max to help them navigate the touring world in the United States which saw them go out on the road with Flaw, Otep, & a legendary tour with Jerry Cantrell which featured opening band "Comes With The Fall" who's lead singer William Duvall would end up fronting the reformed Alice In Chains years later.

He came across a vendor who was selling an 11 x 17 poster print of Stevie Ray Vaughn performing at Lloyd Noble in 1986 while playing his Number 1, SRV Fender Strat, while wearing a Native American Head Dress, which is from a photo that Max Baker Jr. took with a camera that he snuck into the show! He recognized the photo & the vendor confirmed, it was indeed from a photo that Max had taken!!!!!! We also discuss an absolutely incredible metal show that came through the Cains Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma.... Lamb of God, Trivium, Machinehead, & Gojira!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another legendary show we discuss is the Red Hot Chili Peppers make up show at the Cox Convention Center... Originally the show had Gnarls Barkley as the opener, a snow storm cancelled the original date... The make up date featured Mickey Avalon as the opener instead, & OKC did not like Mickey's performance at all... So much so, they loudly boooooooooo'd during his entire performance..
