    About this Episode

In the message "High Five" Pastor Jerry reminds us that we ALL have a 'high' calling from God, then urged the church body to serve 'five' Sundays, in the ministry area of their choice, in the year ahead. Serving is certainly biblical and should be expected of all followers of Christ. Serving will also help also us to find the place of our calling in the body. Laborers are needed in the harvest. We have prayed for them. Now is the time for action! Key Scripture: Phil. 3:7-15 Notes and be found by copying and pasting the following link to your browser: http://sprng.me/jftrv

The Specialties of the Prophets... The Specialties of the Saints

Nearly every prophet in the Old Testament had a specialty.  Their ministries were each characterized by some part of their individualism, or their specific calling or gifting.  While one was a worker of miracles, another would be a seer of things to come. God specifically prepared them for the need of their days.  In the same way, He equips the saints of God today with special characteristics.  God has specifically called and equipped YOU for the job He has chosen you for, in His Kingdom!  There's a similarity in each of us too though. The underlying quality that he looked for in each prophet, and that he looks for in each of us today, is faithfulness to Him and His word!
