The battle is not ours. But we must come to it, face it head on and stand. Today we explore God's word to us in Exodus 14.      How we relate to everything and everyone in our lives ultimately depends on how we relate to God.  In Psalm 16 we see that as we are filled from God's cup we can walk in this world as He commands. We are able to walk better together and be His hands and feet.
     As we are filled by His cup and the lines of His care fall around us, our heart is glad, we can rejoice and rest in hope.

     What if you could enter each day of the New Year filled with promise and hope - would you resolve to do it?
     What if what we seek, and want to change could be done for us? And what if this wonderful change would not be solely up to us, but up to our God whose resolutions for us, to work all for our good, never fail.
     When we resolve to make Jesus our New Years Resolution we can trust that our God will do a new thing in us. Our God who tells us He will make a road in the wilderness and streams in the desert, is calling to us to not only expect change but to expect miracles!

     Have you ever heard the words, "you're not listening" ? Dietrich Bonhoffer said, "the first service we owe one another is to listen, whoever does not know how to listen to his brother or sister will soon no longer be able to listen to God either".
