Hospitality targeted for more Covid restrictions

David talks about the pressures the cost of living is having on businesses in Wales as well as other emerging issues such as the proposed Visitor Economy Levy and second home proposals. 

And David says goodbye to our Wales Committee Chair and gives huge thanks to our members who have been invaluable during these times of crisis.   

David talks about the work that is going on to ensure businesses have support as we move on with our recovery and also touches on future policy such as the second homes enquiry and the opportunities for hospitality that lie ahead. 

Following the announcement of the lifting of Covid Restrictions David gives an update on what the next steps are for hospitality businesses.

We caught up with David Chapman following the break over Christmas - a key trading period for hospitality businesses but this year has been decimated by Omicron restrictions. David talks about the work UKH Cymru has been doing to get the restrictions lifted and its call for adequate financial support to ensure businesses can survive. 

As we move into the Christmas period businesses are still hampered by restrictions and Covid passes. David updates on the work UKHC is doing to get support for businesses to get them through another Christmas impacted by Covid.
