    About this Episode

Chicago Public Schools saw enrollment numbers stabilize for the first time in a decade, but a big problem that CPS is facing is getting the students to attend classes. With enrollment numbers staying the same, a big reason why may be because of the influx of non-English speaking students joining classrooms.

WBBM Political Editor Craig Dellimore is joined by Dr. Judith Allen & Shipra Panicker from Communities in Schools of Chicago to discuss attendance issues, the asylum-seeking children being enrolled in CPS classes, the challenges CPS continue to face & much more.

Dr. Judith Allen is the Chief Operating Officer of Communities in Schools of Chicago.

Shipra Panicker is the Senior Director of Intensive Student Supports of Communities in Schools of Chicago.
