    What does it really take to climb the highest peak in Africa – other than a trusty pair of hiking boots and a positive mindset? There are a lot of things that go into preparing for your Kilimanjaro climb, and you are probably asking yourself what Kilimanjaro training you need to do…

    Kilimanjaro training is by far one of the most common topics we receive questions about from our travellers. First and foremost, anybody can climb Kilimanjaro. As long as you have determination and a general level of fitness, don’t feel intimidated by the magnitude of the journey ahead. The youngest person to ever endure this challenge was 7 years old, and the oldest at 85 years old! That being said, the climb should be well prepared, both physically and mentally.

    So are you ready? In this video Ricardo and Jacqueline help you train physically for your Kilimanjaro climb. They will outline the three successful components for successful summit training and the necessary exercises you should be able to complete beforehand.
