The pandemic, isolation and racism has been making society crazy and Pursuing Compatibility doesn't like it. We are engaging in a conversation about racism and the causes of all of these issues. it's not as simple as we think.

We have discussed the topic with some important point to end racism.
    These are:
Mentally healthy people don’t bother others!! No matter race!
People are lonely and bored. Truly busy people don't bother other people.
Mentally ill people can hurt people
Huge difference B/W a mental condition that you manage and you are mentally all sick
Love life! Lonely people bother other people and also make trouble.
Racism is, “prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior.” Racism can happen anywhere. It can happen at school, at work, or at home; it can happen online or outside; it can even happen within families and relationships. Sometimes racist abuse is obvious - verbal abuse about the way someone looks, stereotypes about how someone might behave, or physical violence and bullying, for example. Sometimes racism is part of the structures and systems that we live in. And sometimes racism is ‘subtle’ and difficult for other people to notice.

Racism and mental health are closely linked. Discrimination on the basis of race or ethnicity can cause or worsen mental health conditions.

    These include:
    depression
    trigger chronic stress
    anxiety
    post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
    substance abuse disorders
    suicidal thoughts

This singular event of the slap exchanged between Chris Rock and Will Smith has gone down in pop culture infamy and has opened many discussions regarding celebrity professionalism, mental health, and feminism.

Here to comment is the Genie, herself, Annemarie Sheridan with her guest co-host, Thomas Vinson.

After the controversy about the California Math Teacher mocking Native Americans, Pursuing Compatibility wanted to pursue a helpful discussion about this cultural issue.

In this episode, we discuss whether the teacher's intentions was to try to be helpful for maybe her Native American students? Maybe coincidentally her Native American students were the ones having a harder time then, others and she thought it would be helpful? Maybe the presentation was gone too far but taken out of context?
