    About this Episode

After being married for 9 years, I know that's not a long time, but that is farther than 60% of marriages ever make it. I have learned this. This has changed my life.

I talk about 9 points that I have learned.

1 Things don't always happen on your timeline

2 The world doesn't revolve around you

3 Things change and change is good

4 Learn to say I am sorry

    5 Dream big, Dream together

    6 Communication is so important

7 Life is hard enough, don't make it harder

    8 Forgive Quickly

9 Stop trying to change your partner

and 10 Always say I love you

These things have changed my life and I hope they change yours.

Not all Successes are Home Runs with Elliott Blair

Elliott Blair is a Pro Scout for the Texas Rangers baseball team. He is a great guy and an all around forward thinker. I was really impressed with him the first time we met and just think the world of him. In this episode he educates me on what he does and then we really dive in to the mindsets behind some of the highest performing athletes and problems that we see in the world today!

People you love, won't always be in your Corner

People you love, won't always be in your Corner

This might hurt, I know that this realization really hurt me. This is raw.... its meant to be raw. I hope you feel what I am saying and that it resonates with you. We all have people whom we love....family, friends and people around us, that do not want what is best for us. Because it does not line up with their selfish intentions..... It hurts..... it stings and it leaves us wondering why?!?

    Learning to have difficult conversations

    Learning to have difficult conversations

Sorry for the gap in podcasts.... I have been so sick that I couldn't even record for nearly 3 weeks, but I am back. I have been thinking alot as well!

Why do we have so much hate and discontent in the world? I think it is a lack of listening and a lack of understanding!

"Being taught to avoid talking about politics and religion has led to a lack of understanding about politics and religion.... What we should have been taught is how to have a civil conversation about a difficult topic"
