    About this Episode

What does it really mean to live creatively?

I couldn’t imagine kicking off this podcast with a better, or more appropriate, question. In this first episode of the Live Creatively podcast, Megan Alexander and I talk about just that. We dive deep into one of my favorite passages of scripture, the one that inspired me to start this podcast.

In this episode, we break down this passage line by line and Megan shares what it means to her to “live creatively.” We chat about what that has looked like for her, both personally and professionally, as a woman, wife, and mother. She also shares some stories about the challenges she has navigated working in the entertainment space and how she has had the courage to be true to who she is no matter the situation or circumstance.

If you are curious about how you too can live your creative best life while staying true to who you are, this episode is for you!

Megan Alexander is an Emmy nominated national host, author, speaker, actress, and the owner of M.Alexander Productions. She believes in creating and launching meaningful projects that matter. You can hear and see Megan on a variety of outlets, like the syndicated national news magazine television show INSIDE EDITION, CBS television shows, Fox News, Lifetime, the Hallmark Channel and many more.

How can we break free from fear and anxiety in a world that feeds it?

In this episode of Live Creatively, I’m chatting with Christy Boulware. Christy is first a passionate follower of Christ. She is also a wife and a mom of three. With a deep desire to set women and teens free from the chains of fear and anxiety, Christy leads a non-profit organization called Fearless Unite. Through conferences, workshops. retreats, Bible studies, and devotionals, Christy speaks and writes about drastically decreasing the alarming statistics of anxiety in our world.

I loved this candid conversation with Christy about finding freedom from crippling fears and anxiety and how these can negatively impact our creativity. Of course, these struggles are not exclusive to creatives, but I know I have certainly wrestled with lots of fears along my own creative journey.
