    About this Episode

This week edition of The Roundtable detailed a recap of Rutgers Wrestling's regular season, as this portion of the program's year ended on February 12. With a few weeks off before the Big Ten Tournament in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the Scarlet Knights ended the regular season with a 10-7 overall record that included two Big Ten wins vs Michigan State and Maryland. As Rutgers remained in the top 25 rankings, five specific wrestlers from different weight classes have stood out throughout the campaign.

Our hosts: Alex Carmenaty and Christian Vazquez will take a deep dive into all the numbers recorded this regular season and will be joined by WRSU FM New Brunswick Wrestling Announcer RJ Silver-Cohen to give a further analysis on the team heading into the in-conference tournament from March 4-5.

Later on in the show, Alex Carmenaty will talk one on one with Rutgers women's lacrosse's starting goalkeeper Sophia Cardello. Cardello and her squad are 3-0 to begin the 2023 season, where the program is ranked as one of the top 10 teams in the nation. Rutgers continues its early start at Army on February 25, where the Scarlet Knights look to improve to 4-0.

Alex Carmenaty will also talk one on one with Rutgers Baseball's Trevor Cohen, who was named Big Ten Freshman of the week on Tuesday. Cohen, the rookie outfielder for the team, lead the charge for the Scarlet Knights in the opening season series against Campbell. Cohen went 8 for 11 at the plate (a batting average of .727), driving in 6 RBI's while totaling 9 bases and 4 runs scored. In Rutgers' lone win in the series, Cohen totaled 5 RBI's and lead the Knights to a 16-3 win on Sunday.
