Installment 001: A Fraudcast?

Let's celebrate isolation...together! Happy Lockdown Anniversary. Mr. Biggins ponders aloud and alone about where we at after a full year of The Panicdemic. The ridiculous overreaction to the pandemic was far more harmful than the virus. This was obvious well before the Unhappy Anniversary. 

Since we neglected to podcast during what was certainly the best year for crying out, "Deliver us from people!", I did the next best thing. I go back to my thoughts from the early days of the pandemic, which was rife with examples of the sad state of humanity. 

Mr. Biggins podcasts in isolation once again with more COVID positivity. Recorded in December of 2020, I recount my personal visit with the Wuhan Flu earlier in the year. 

Deliver Us From People finally returns as the end of 2020 mercifully draws nigh. My cohost, Kjell, could not be cajoled to brave the infected air and join me for recording sessions at Problem Attic Studios. So I assumed my stage name, Mr. Biggins, and morphed into a solo host to podcast alone in true pandemic fashion. I cobbled together something resembling an installment from recordings during autumn/winter 2020. This is my attempt to bring some light to the world, even though people generally disgust me and don't even deserve my half-hearted attempt at optimism.

Kjell is a recovering liberal turned hard rightist with a Trump tramp stamp. Kevin traces his journey from default liberal environmentalist to Bush bumper sticker adhering Repub to libertarian flirting with anarchy. 

Kevin tries to help Kjell understand big numbers, to no avail. 

 We just want you to know where we're coming from so you can lambaste us for future hypocrisy and asininity. 

Your thoughtful hosts take a bold stance: mental illness sucks!

We establish that mental illness is largely just a bullshit excuse to take pills. At least in Kjell's case.

Two washed-up "artists", who double as pizza guys, are now officially posing as podcasters. Your hosts, Kjell "The Wheezin' Norwegian" Bjorgen and Kevin Hagen launch the first installment of Deliver Us From People by arguing past each other about the fraudulence of others (and themselves). 

We initiate this initial installment with insults.
