    Tick Tock...It's all about Time!

Jayne & Mary discuss the sense of time on our mental and physical health.

In Jayne's world in the emergency department, there is the sense of urgency and every minute counting is omnipresent.

Mary speaks to how  for our mental health, time can vary and it can be important to take time and slow down.  In addition addressing how the amount of time to get to treatment can have on our health.. the longer you go on and ignoring physical or mental health symptoms or issues, the longer the healing process may take with learned patterns and behaviors.
    Introspection, understanding the process,

In our society we live in, there is often a sense of immediate gratification with technology, and that short amount of time has altered our approach to our lives and health. It is important to recognize reality versus perception of time when it comes to our health and daily practices.

A final note to our conversation, time does allow patterns and our brains do thrive on predictability that time provides us!
