Last week Taco Bell held their first Live Más LIVE event in Irvine, CA, giving us a preview of the restaurant chain's marketing calendar, announcing new menu items, ingredients and sauces that are sure to fill plenty of cravings in 2024. We absolutely needed to discuss this breaking news and share it with you, so we jumped on a virtual call to tell you all about it. Listen as we describe details about the menu, our thoughts on each item, and what we look forward to trying most throughout the year!

We share our experience at Outback Steakhouse on our special friend date and then Danielle opens a surprise gift before we chat about indulging in Paczki (a Fat Tuesday classic in the metro-Detroit area... YUM!) as well as our take on which Downtown Detroit coney island (American or Lafayette) we prefer. Then, we share what we are giving up for lent!

Ahead of the big game this weekend, we do a live chicken wing taste challenge with surprise flavors from two micro-establishments, Buffalo Wild Wings GO and Hoots by Hooters, to determine which we like better! Then, Danielle catches us up on her hours long wait to buy some very nostalgic burritos and a trip to Olive Garden with her family.

It’s the holiday season and we are back to share updates on what we’ve been up to, including Christopher’s trip to Phoenix that kicked off with a spicy airport encounter, as well as seeing the Queen of Christmas live in concert together earlier this month, before bringing the important topics on our minds to the table, such as greeting card and gift giving etiquette, what’s on the Christmas dinner menu this year, and which brand name ingredients we are loyal to. We do another “Feast or Fast” review of four more fresh new items that hit the Taco Bell menu late last week. First up is the Cheesy Jalapeño Mexican Pizza, then the Chicken Enchilada Burrito, some Strawberry Twists for dessert, and finally we wash it all down with the Wild Strawberry Crème Delight Freeze. This is the most we’ve ever seen from a Taco Bell menu launch, so was it worth all the excitement?
