Before Jesus’ return, the Gospel must reach every people group. It’s exciting to be a part of Jesus’ mission. The struggle we see today is about light versus darkness, good versus evil. So we are steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of our Lord. Our work for Jesus is not in vain. 

"He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son..." (Col 1:13) Darkness has a domain.  A domain that is very real in this world and this age.  This domain manifests and oppresses in many different forms - BUT.  Jesus delivers us - His truth and His kingdom is the Domain of Light! And His truth delivers us from every trap, form and weapon of darkness.

The words we speak must be in alignment with what God has already spoken, decreed and declared. Let’s leave the negative thoughts and speech behind us. Let’s align our thoughts and speech with God’s Word, and we will be overcomers in 2024.

In the beginning.. God separated. He separated the waters. He separated the darkness from the light. We have begun a new year and as Isaiah reminded us, God is beginning a New Thing - always. And in this season of newness, He is once again: Separating! Preparing us for the ending that will be just as the beginning: A life of walking with God in intimate relationship. Just Like It Started!

The greatest weapon God has granted His people in life is not IQ, talent or personality.  It’s prayer!  Prayer knows no boundaries, whether from the belly of a great fish or a prison dungeon, no obstacle can prevent our direct connection to God.  As begin our Week of Prayer, let’s be encouraged to start by joining us today as week seek the Lord for personal, churchwide and national renewal. 

What little you have to offer - although it falls so very short of what is needed - is more than enough in God’s miraculous hands.  This past week around the world, Jewish people celebrated Hanukkah and remembered a similar miracle.  In the days of the Maccabees, when they were attacked, oppressed and fighting back (like they are today)… God made one day’s worth of oil miraculously last for 8… and turned a crisis into a comeback!!
