About this Episode

Because Karthus was released like 13 years ago, he has very little lore. Naturally! Smolder

Although Riot promised there would be other forms of lore for new champions, we haven't seen much evidence of that yet. We still wanted to read about Smolder and see what the heck is going on with dragons. Unfortunately, we still don't know. But we are holding out hope that the MMO is in the works, and Riot will deliver on some other lore methods in the future.

Song of Nunu

We have mixed feelings about the lore moving forward. Getting stories via games like this feels so cool, but Riot Games has gotten rid of Riot Forge, so what does that mean for future games and lore? Hopefully we learn more soon. Meanwhile, this was a great way to feel more connected to Runeterra and the handful of champions we got to see. We need more!! And the MMO.

Veigar

Veigar is a simple idea Riot Games figured out pretty early. There have been shockingly few changes to one of League's oldest champions, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Veigar is fun, hilarious, and has so much potential with a ton of other champions. VEIGAR EVENT 2024!!!

Vayne

Although Vayne's in game play hasn't changed much, Riot has tweaked her lore a few times here and there. She's always loved killing monsters, but these days she does it while acting a little less like Batman. They're also shying away from her being a weirdo villain. Mistake!!
