12: The Dollars and Scents of Smell

12: The Dollars and Scents of Smell

As the first season of SEVERAL STORIES HIGH comes to a close (and as you can probably tell from the little bendy lines in the title (and these ones too...oooh, double bendies!)), I do hope you enjoy one last story (for now!), namely in today's tale: "The Dollars and Scents of Smell", in which a freelance journalist named Rudy sets out to track down the heiress to the Smell fortune. And yes, you read that correctly: The Smell fortune, as in the Smell Family, as in...THE INVENTORS OF THE SENSE OF SMELL. But one question remains: Can our freelancing sleuth make it to the Smell estate and back in one piece? There's only one way to find out (I checked). Shall we begin?

I want to give a huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you for listening to the show and telling your friends and loved ones about it. Please keep it up! And even though season 1 has come to a close, I do hope and plan to be back one day! I've got some other projects to accomplish until then, and I will update you all when they're done! In the mean time, I will leave links to some, emphasis on SOME, of my favorite podcasts if you are interested. Links to that and more below!

Ep 30: Danni Bullies Goya for 51 Minutes

Wow. We love Goya. From his bad paintings to his charming smile to his general lumpiness. And we aren't the only ladies who loved a little Goya in their lives. Join us as we talk about the two potential hotties who posed for his infamously sexy La Maja Vestida (1805) and La Maja Desnuda (1800). Plus some discussion of a few perverts, secret love affairs, and the Spanish Inquisition for good measure.
