Giovanni Hamilton | Overcoming the Odds
Giovanni Hamilton (Gio the Podcaster) was born and raised in Philadelphia and is a major sports fan! Gio was born with a rare condition called Schwartz-Jampel syndrome and has already had 30 surgeries at age 16. Although Giovanni has encountered numerous trials and difficulties, he is a walking miracle and overflows with positivity and love. Gio hosts his own sports talk show called The Giovanni Show and has dreams of being an NFL reporter.
In this episode, Giovanni shares his story and talks about the challenges he has faced throughout his life. We also talk about how to deal with negativity, overcoming bullying, faith, and football. And yes...Gio talks about some of his epic sports memories including working the NFL combine, having Lucas Oil Stadium all to himself, and hanging with Pat McAfee. Stephen and Gio met during Stephen's time working for the Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation and have been friends ever since. Enjoy this episode!
