Life is hard. Even people who follow Christ can feel the weight and pressure of life. It can lead to anxiety, fear, depression, and more. Even in the midst of the chaos, God is there, and He finds you!

Elijah was one of the most notable prophets in the old testament. Even so, this man of God had a moment of deep despair. The example of his darkest moment highlights for us how God cares for us in ours. His love and mercy for us in our weakness helps set us on a path to be soul healthy.

The Bible is the key way to know who God is. It's His story revealed over thousands of years and it showcases His grace, mercy, love, and heart. Studying His word daily helps us get to know Him better and in this episode are key ways you can go deeper in your understanding of the word of God.

The Bible is Spirit inspired & God-breathed. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of our heart. It is also the greatest way to know the heart of God. Growing deeper in our Christian faith is directly related to our biblical maturity. It's knowing the scriptures to be sweeter than honey and more desirable than gold.

Our prayer life is one of the most important disciplines we can develop. How we pray, what we pray about, and when, play an important role in a vibrant spiritual life with the Lord. At the end of the day, it's not about results, but rather about communing with our Heavenly Father.

Prayer is one of the identifying markers of a person who is spiritually hungry. The practice and discipline of prayer can lead us to spiritual hunger. The key to prayer isn't what we gain from it, but rather WHO we gain.

Our past can be riddled with pain and struggle, especially struggle with sin. Even so, you can move forward, but it takes trust in God and His complete work on the cross. It takes crossing over the Jordan river in front of us. It takes getting our feet wet in faith.

Praise is powerful and effective in the life of a believer. It can be the key to victory in circumstances, and it can help shape your perspective about God. More than that, it should be a daily practice to help enrich your walk with Christ.
