Meikle and JWilliams get swept up in the tailwind of the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards, in this week's episode, discussing Post Malone's private plane having to make an emergency landing after his big VMA win for Song of the Year, the botched and painfully selfish Aretha Franklin "tribute" by Madonna, as well as Aretha Franklin neglecting to get her will in order for her beneficiaries before passing away, Nicki Minaj sticking up for Normani of Fifth Harmony while simultaneously getting shaded by Empress Cardi B after spending a week promoting her "Queen" album only to come in second to Travis Scott, Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose claiming that eliminating sex will make you a better co-parent and much more.

Finishing up this Mercury Retrograde strong, Meikle and JWilliams are chopping down the top stories of the week.
