PRINCE “Baldhead” Phillips Baldhead has been funny since the sixth grade! He started doing comedy in 1993 but since the block paid more, he ignored the urging of two of his closest friends, Deon Cole and Marlon Mitchell, to pursue it further. The streets were his number one love after all. Being shot five times and seeing his closest friends buried did not make him change. But then, he spent four and a half years in PRISON & thats when He realized he was in the wrong hustle. Baldhead’s style of comedy is aggressive as he addresses day to day subjects such as being a man, his children, family, relationships, economics, the south-side of Chicago, and his stomping grounds of Englewood. He has been performing comedy since he got out of jail. “Once I got serious, things started and continued to go well”, he says. It makes him happy to make people happy. He does not drink or smoke. He gets his high off of performing on stage. Baldhead performs all over the United States, is a favorite for hosting shows; has opened up for the likes of Kenny Latimore and MoNique; and, is involved in charitable causes such as HIV prevention and cancer awareness. He is an Ambassador for the KeeP’n It Real About HIV/AIDS Project. IT HAS BEEN SAID BY ALL WHO SEE HIM that he is the next Robin Harris.
