    A Mother's Peace, Power & Freedom w/ Lila Simmons

    A Mother's Peace, Power & Freedom w/ Lila Simmons

When I was first inspired to create the Rise to Success podcast, I had a very singular vision: to share with you the stories of women and men who have found success on their own terms.

Lila Simmons has taken some brave steps to overcome what she calls her stories of abandonment and betrayal by those who we would expect would love her most.

She tells us how her life's changing point was the moment she decided that it was OK for her to put raising my children as her top priority, even above providing for them. That moment actually allowed her to be able to go from veritable homelessness to actually providing for us.

Lila is a woman of multiple geniuses on a mission to uplift women who feel overwhelmed, heartbroken and lost into a space of more peace, power and freedom so they can live the lives the choose to live.

Lila's Light provides actualization coaching and energy healing for women who crave more peace, power and freedom.

You can find her at www.lilasimmons.com, and you can check out the show notes for the link to request a meditation that Lila created to help you release what no longer serves you.

Let's TALK about money! w/ Linda Bradley

Let's TALK about money! w/ Linda Bradley

Working as a coach is Linda's passion. After her marriage ended while an expat living in Panama, she returned to Canada  to rebuild her life and to pursue her dream of becoming a coach. Through her coach training at CTI (The Coaches Training Institute) she processed the hurt of the divorce and realized that her marriage had failed in large part due to her inability to communicate well. Once finished her coach training she set her niche on helping others to improve their communication skills as she had been doing ever since the marriage ended.

She now teaches clients how to first  find their Courage, then improve their Communication to finally help achieve that deeper Connection we are all searching for. Without good communication skills and a self awareness of what we are doing in our conversations we will continue to do and get what we always did from our relationships, both professional and personal, which is often the exact opposite of what we wanted.

As a money coach, and as a wife, I understand how important it is to be able to communicate about money matters well with our partners.  Knowing how to open up a conversation about money issues that are important to us in a way that is respectful and effective is one of the keys to effective marriages.  It’s no secret that most marriages suffer because of money problems, so in my opinion, if you’re in a committed relationship, this is one of the most important episodes you can hear.

In this episode, Linda gives you REAL conversation starters that you can use when you open up conversations about money, and she guides you through full conversations so you can see how to successfully talk money with your partner.

Listen for a chance to win one of Linda’s favourite books, Non Violent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg.

You can connect with Linda on her website http://awakeningslifecoaching.ca/, and you can book a sample coaching session with her to experience her style.  I just love her, and I know this won’t be the last time you hear us talking.

Justin describes himself as the Mindhacker for entrepreneurs. He helps entrepreneurs shed their issues in minutes rather than months.

In this episode Justin shares some powerful metaphors to help you understand how hypnosis helps you get results.  It’s a calm safe practice that helps you shed fears and overcome stresses that keep you small, and it also helps you get out of your own way.

I know you’ll also love Justin’s way of describing success, and you’ll hear about his own journey from escaping a life that had him feeling like an empty husk to the life that he lives now where he understands what it means to be alive.

From Inspired Side Hustle to Inspired Clients w/ Laura Lucas

From Inspired Side Hustle to Inspired Clients w/ Laura Lucas

You’ll hear me joke with Laura in the beginning of this episode that it feels to me like we were twins separated at birth.  While Laura is a business coach and helps her clients implement strategies that feel right for them, she actually asks her clients to commit  first to fostering the right mindset for business and for their lives, because without that, they’ll stay stuck.

Laura shares her story of transformation in her career.  As she was nearing the end of her work as a PhD student in science, she realized that she wasn’t meant to work in a lab alone.  She’s a people person, and after she completed her schooling, she moved into corporate doing a lot of business improvement work.  Over the years she’s taken her scientific curiosity and blended it with her understanding of what motivates people, and is now self-employed and helping other business owners achieve success.

Laura tells us how most businesses try to grow the inside out way, and gives us a unique perspective on how we should be creating our offers and connecting with our perfect paying clients.

We also chat about how fear holds business owners back and the best way to conquer it, and she shares her no- B.S. approach that her clients call compassionate and caring.

You can connect with Laura on her websiste www.inspirential.com, and you can connect with her in her facebook group Inspired Hustlers Manifesting Lab, where she shares her own best resources.
