    About this Episode

    Depression and anxiety are common in primary care and primary care physicians manage them regularly. In the Penn system, a collaborative care model known as Penn Integrated Care (PIC) allows for collaboration between mental health providers and primary care physicians.  In this podcast, we discuss this model with Dr Joseph Teel and Dr Eleanor Anderson, a psychiatrist. We also review the fundamentals of the management of depression in primary care.
