She is the CEO and Founder of Recalibrate2Liberate, LLC, a consulting business that provides trainings, workshops, healing spaces, wellness retreats, and proofreading and editing services—all at the intersections of social justice, mental health, and emotional wellness. Dr. Scott has also co-authored and published two book chapters.

    One book chapter explored the impact of sexual assault within women of color on college campuses. The other book chapter highlighted holistic care modalities for the treatment of psychological problems in medical settings for older adults. Dr. Scott earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia. She was born and raised in Georgia, and she is a loving daughter and the oldest sister of three super close siblings.
