Chantel, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, gained an early understanding of the importance of using your voice to create change and make an impact by watching her mother's advocacy for others.

Chantel's first book, "On a Mission: 21 Secrets for College Success," allowed her to use her expertise as a college professor to create a successful multi-six figure speaking and coaching platform. Dr. Ciera Scott is a Licensed Psychologist with over 14+ years of professional experience in the realms of healthcare, higher education, the public sector, and diversity, equity, and inclusion advocacy. She is the CEO and Founder of Recalibrate2Liberate, LLC, a consulting business that provides trainings, workshops, healing spaces, wellness retreats, and proofreading and editing services—all at the intersections of social justice, mental health, and emotional wellness. Dr. Scott has also co-authored and published two book chapters.

One book chapter explored the impact of sexual assault within women of color on college campuses. The other book chapter highlighted holistic care modalities for the treatment of psychological problems in medical settings for older adults. Dr. Scott earned her PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia. She was born and raised in Georgia, and she is a loving daughter and the oldest sister of three super close siblings. Dr. Scott is also an adoring wife. She and her partner currently live in Nashville, TN and they are proud fur-mommies to their 2-year-old Tri-Color Mini-Bernedoodle.

Tiffany Heard is a proud graduate of Howard University where she obtained a Masters of Social Work. She has currently traveled the world to over 20 countries and gives back selflessly by volunteering abroad.

Ms. Heard is a content creator who discusses and documents her solo vacations on the travel blog. Tiffany is an author of Hues of Africa: Journey Between the Lines. She was inspired to create this book because coloring calms her soul and she aspires to globe-trot throughout the continent of Africa as a traveling Social Worker.
