    In today’s episode, we get to sit with Jefa, Monika Aldarondo - Our Latina Lens

    Mónika Aldarondo Lugo is the founder of Our Latina Lens and La Ancla Creative and is based in the SF Bay Area. Through Our Latina Lens she connects, supports and elevates U.S.-based Latina/e photographers.

    Mónika is a creative shapeshifter and specializes in supporting people through the use of various media to tell stories, whether it's through photography, community building, consulting on creative endeavors or podcasting. She produces and hosts Our Latina Lens Podcast and PSC Mami Podcast.

    She was an arts educator for over a decade and Creative Director at Boston Arts Academy. She earned a B.S. in journalism from the University of Florida and a BFA in Art Education from Massachusetts College of Art. As an organ donor recipient she is also an ambassador for Donate Life and an advocate for patients with Autoimmune Liver Diseases.
