How to Become a Goal Digger with Jenna Kutcher

How to Become a Goal Digger with Jenna Kutcher

It’s not every day you receive the opportunity to interview your biggest business role model and mentor but today is a magical day for me as I am so excited to introduce you to mine.

She is a small-town Minnesota educator, New York Times best-selling author of "How Are You, Really?" and host of the #1 Marketing Podcast in the US, the Goal Digger Podcast. Jenna Kutcher is a leader and mentor to individuals around the world through the power of an internet connection.

She didn’t always have this business: the clients, the courses, the book, the sales, the millions of downloads... In fact, just a decade ago you could have found her wearing red and khaki, exhausted in her stuffy windowless office.

At the age of 23, Jenna invested in a $300 Craigslist camera. Little did she know, that camera would be her one-way ticket out of her windowless office corporate job. That single investment led her to the 7-figure empire she's running today (and a bestselling book that tells the whole story).

Today I am chatting with Jenna about her journey and evolution as an entrepreneur, her advice for entrepreneurs and how excited we both are for her upcoming appearance in Canada at the Glow Getter Conference! Are you ready? Let’s glow!

Book Review: Everything is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo

Book Review: Everything is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo

I have followed Marie Forleo for years online watching her regular video teachings, her social media accounts, I am a B-School Alumni and I absolutely love the message of her book, Everything is Figureoutable because I am a huge believer in everything is truly figureoutable. It has quickly become one of my favorite mantras. You will even see a custom-made sign in my office with this saying on it.

Today I am sharing all of my key takeaways from Marie’s book from the road map to results, eliminating excuses, deleting our email app, dealing with fear, defining your dream, discussing progress over perfection and so much more. If you are ready to take the next step towards your goals and dreams, THIS is the episode for you. Are you ready? Let’s glow!

What I’ve Learned From 100 Podcast Episodes

What I’ve Learned From 100 Podcast Episodes

It was fall of 2018, I had paused my annual women in business conference and I was searching for a way to stay connected to a few hundred women spread across Canada and potentially find a way to help them stay connected with each other as well.

I remember saying to my assistant Katelyn that maybe I could look at starting a podcast one day, where I could interview incredible women like the ones I bring to speak on my conference stage and share their stories with the ability to reach even more women virtually. At this point in time when I was hosting my conference, I was always maxed out of capacity for how many attendees I could hold in my venue so I wanted to think about the bigger picture and what direction I could possibly take all of this.

Little did I know, I was actually creating something that would later become a top-charting podcast, with tens of thousands of downloads in over 83 countries around the world, every single province and territory in Canada and 48 out of 50 states in the United States.

Today I am so excited to share 3 big, valuable lessons I have learned from recording 100 podcast episodes! Are you ready? Sit back, get cozy and let’s glow!

How to Create Your Elevator Pitch

How to Create Your Elevator Pitch

I often see entrepreneurs struggling with how to explain what they do, especially if they are put on the spot and expected to share in 30 seconds or less. An elevator pitch is meant for you to share who you are and what you do.

My version of an entrepreneurial elevator pitch is who you are, who you help and how you help them by describing your products and/or services in short form. This gives a person a quick glance at how you might be able to help them and if you specialize in helping them.

Today I am sharing 3 steps to create your simplified, easy-to-share elevator pitch to use in your Instagram bio, on your website or maybe even at your next networking event. Are you ready? Grab your pen, your favourite notebook and let’s glow!

How to Prepare for Holiday Sales Now

How to Prepare for Holiday Sales Now

We are right in the middle of the summer and I am sure the last thing you want to hear is the word Christmas in July but hear me out. As business owners we have to plan things out a bit further in advance, especially if you have a business in certain industries such as fashion for example, where you are always working at least one to two seasons in advance.

The holidays including Black Friday and Christmas are the most important time of the year for the majority of businesses and now is a great time to get a jumpstart on mapping out your plan of action. What products or services are you going to offer? When do you need to order them or create them by? When do you need to begin marketing them or like I love to do, when will you start giving sneak peeks or teasers?

Today I am sharing 3 ways you can prepare for holiday sales now and save yourself so much time and stress this fall. Are you ready? Let’s glow!
