We also touch on the ORIGINAL Mario Bros. movie from the '90s with Bob Hoskins, John Leguizamo, and Dennis Hopper, Tucker Carlson bringing his show to Twitter, The John Wick films and the insane kill-count, the fantastic Breaking Bad series spin-off "Better Call Saul," brainwashing yourself by listening to music and TV while you're asleep, the 1st Amendment, and how absolutely out of control AI looks to be heading... more on that topic next week!

In this episode, we talk a lot about the state of the world, and our favorite 2 Pac albums... which leads to some fun conspiracy theories! Then we jump over to watch Ye on Tucker Carlson, and, well... we all have a lot to say in this episode, believe!

In this fun-filled episode, we talk a bit about the divisiveness of Hollywood as people are up in arms about a female kissing scene in the new Buzz Lightyear film, as well as the new animated Little Mermaid, Ariel, is black, and for some reason, people get upset... sad. 

We talk a bit about Hansen vs. Predator and To Catch a Predator as we just release a new "Patreon Exclusive" series called "Cringe Bytes" where we watch along together to all things cringe! You know, like some of the other TV classics like WIFE SWAP! We talk about Google's AI "LaMDA" and its claims that it has become sentient and is a... person? 

This obviously gets very philosophy heavy. Somehow we jump from that over to the rumors that Giselle is planning to divorce Tom Brady, and allegedly Vegas has already got 12-1 odds that she will end up with the hilarious Pete Davidson... 

Which isn't that a topic on its own? How does he do it? What is Pete Davidson's secret? 

After pondering this, we end the episode with some hilarious Missed Connections. 
 

In this "Action-Packed" episode we talk a bit about the new Netflix series "Dahmer," and Evan Peters' absolutely fantastic and "dead on" portrayal (no pun initially intended!) We also recently had our metaphysical minds melted by another Netflix documentary on INFINITY called "A Trip to Infinity." 

Believe me, when I say, we try to keep up with current culture and pop culture and we will do our best to keep you all up to date on the Adam Levine "scandal" as we can... but we know nothing... and neither do YouTubers! Seriously... when did a 30-second explainer video about Adam naming his child "Sumner" after the model he cheated with become a 12-minute dissertation on the origins of Levine himself?! End rant...

In this episode, we dive right into talking about the Netflix series that brings our nostalgia to new heights, Cobra Kai, depression, Ancestry DNA and how weird it is to REALLY THINK ABOUT DNA extraction, more Henry VIII and The Tudors, how gross chewing tobacco and dip is, overworking yourself in workouts, recording with Brian McTernan at Salad Days Studios, Taco Bell, and well... way too much more! 

We also took a nostalgia trip into a recent reminder that at one point in time “Big Johnson” t-shirts were a thing… We then go into a segment where we listen to some really rad isolated vocal tracks from Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, Thom Yorke of Radiohead, Chris Martin of Coldplay, and more. Lastly, we also do some new and always cringe missed connections. Let’s go!

In this brand spanking new episode of SNWF, we try out a few new segments like "Deep Tracks Only," where we play songs for one another game-show style and try to "name that band..." or at least the "one-hit wonder." We also start another new little segment entitled "Unpopular Opinion," where one of us shares a fun fact that would likely not be the opinion shared by a majority... ever. We also chat a bit on the topics of Armie Hammer and the new Discovery+ docu-series "House of Hammer," and all of the hijinx that crazy Hammer is up to, as well as a longer than necessary discussion on the 2010's Showtime series "The Tudors."" Here we go!

Man, this episode really did get away from us pretty quickly! From the start we touch on topics ranging from Nihilism, its deeper meaning in the film, Fight Club, as well as Gene's "expert" film critic review, when photographers use to take photos with cameras the size of a house or at least a car, and the dangers of the old-timey photo solvents. We talk a bunch about Tom Cruise and his really creepy laugh from that one time an inner Scientology video somehow leaked onto the internet. It's pretty bonkers. We kinda discuss a half-and-half recommendation on the HBO Series "The Rehearsal,"as well as the new Baz Luhrman bio-pic film "Elvis," and just how absolutely fantastic it was! STRAP IN! 

We also talked a bit about the anxiety of having a waiter, such as like at the Olive Garden, using a pepper grinder and asking you to tell them when to stop, people who Zoom with remote jobs who don't always feel compelled to wear pants, listening to your inner-self sometimes instead of doubting so damn much, Gene burns his hand living a vegetarian life (a drama,) and wow, so much more.

Finally, in this episode, we introduce our new segment "C.U.L.T." (cheer up let's talk!) where we take viewer submissions and give our best advice, opinions, and thoughts, even though obviously no one should listen to us for REAL or AT ALL... EVER.
