    1968 (Part 3)

It's time for one of those huge episodes. Well, it's a three parter anyways. 1968 was a ground breaking year for horror movies, well, as far as the big hitter films are concerned anyways. The highs are really high & the lows are few & far between. But, what do I think was the very greatest horror movie that came out during 1968? Well, here we have the top 10. The worst 10. A slew of also rans. Some awesome mates. Some special guests. Several pints of beer and over 4 hours of running time split over 4 episodes. This is 1968, A Year In Horror.

    Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) w/ Steve Hackett

    Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) w/ Steve Hackett

Today I chat with Steve Hackett, the legendary guitarist from Genesis about the Francis Ford Coppola directed masterpiece, Bram Stoker's Dracula.  Steve is now 30 albums deep into an incredible solo career which this week has seen the release of his latest opus, a rite of passage concept stunner entitled 'The Circus And The Nightwhale'. This episode is a cracker. Enjoy!

Eye of the Devil (1966) w/ Twin Temple

Eye of the Devil (1966) w/ Twin Temple

I think Eye of the Devil is an undercard for 1966

    • In the USA you had William Shatner starring in 'Incubus' and John Saxon And Dennis Hopper in 'Queen of Blood'
    • In Spain you had Jess Franco’s 'The Diabolical Dr Z'
    • In Italy Mario Bava put out 'Kill, Baby Kill'
    • In Japan 'Daimajin' was released as well as 'Irazumi'
    • And in the UK you had Hammer Horror’s 'Plague of the Zombies', "The Witches' and 'Dracula Prince of Darkness'
    • All I think stronger titles than 'Eye of the Devil'

But there is no denying there is something magical about it. I just can't put my finger on it.

    J. Lee Thompson directed Cape Fear in 1962, Happy Birthday to Me in 1981 plus a couple of Planet of the Apes movies as part of his genre sweep during his career. Eye of the Devil is often overlooked which is a real shame. When I asked the fantastic satanic doo-woppers TWIN TEMPLE to pick a movie to cover for this show, imagine my delight when they came back with that very choice. YES! Today we are joined by singer Alexandra Jones and her guitarist husband Zach. That's right! It's the time of the Temple. Right here, right now.
