When I felt blah recently, HALT helped me realize I was hungry and tired, making me feel better instantly.

    • Listening to the whispers of your soul

    • Striving for balance
    • Bravery over perfection
    • Knowing your why
    • How to make ongoing, sustainable changes vs. dramatic/temporary changes
    • Your lifestyle prescription - designed by you for you, for your best interest
    • What serves you and helps you achieve your wellness goals
    • Finding the middle ground (sustainable) 
    • There is no quick fix that actually works long-term.
    • Accepting: polarity, contrast, imperfection, that the ideal changes over time
    • Success comes from flexibility in an imperfect world
    • Releasing judgment (re-framing “mistake” or “cheat day”)

    What wellness isn’t:

    • Quick fixes
    • Temporary changes

    • Copying someone else
    • Rigid planning
    • Seeking perfection
    • All or nothing mentality - black or white thinking

    The most visible parts of wellness aren’t the most important. There is no single most important part of your wellness. ALL parts matter.

    I am going to say a word…

    MONEY!

    What is the first thing that popped into your head when you heard that?

    Some will hear the word ‘Money’ and will immediately think: Generosity. Resource. Freedom. Security. Provision. Opportunity.

    Others may hear that word and have their thoughts go to: Greed. Filth. Pain. Corruption. Shame. Lack. Destruction. 

    Today, we will ask a very important question: How do YOU feel about money?

    Really.  

    Is it only for other people to have? Is it something you desire to have but feel guilty for wanting? Or, is money something you are excited about having?

    We all have some form of baggage around finances. This has come to us through a variety of ways but most often it is inherited from our family and our society.

    Let’s unpack those bags and discover how we can have a healthy relationship with this necessary resource and use it effectively to change not only our lives, but also the lives of those around us.

    Action:

    Answer these questions honestly:

    • Why do you want money?
    • Why do you deserve money?
    • What did your parents teach you about money?
    • You get to decide your relationship with money. Create a money mantra: Money flows into me. I love money because it allows me to help others. I am getting richer by the minute. Anything that resonates with you to help you attract more abundance in your life and keep a healthy perspective.
