    About this Episode

We put our heads together with authors that are presenting at the inaugural Lowcountry Short Story America festival. Here are a few snippets that reinforces the business model of CityTrex (ecommerce of info-nuggets regarding a sense of place) and supports the multimedia publishing initiatives of Bonton Studio (print, pixels, mobile).

Hear a leader, James Goertel, share his insights:

"A year ago nobody knew who I was.

Without readers the writer is nothing.

Publishing is in such a state of change that traditional publishers cannot take risks.

    With flux there's opportunity

We can tap into the social media that's out there.

I took it upon myself to initiate contacts and tap into the generosity of spirit of the writing community.

You can learn the business and make valuable connections by observing (online), then contributing, then engaging.

Authors writers poets have the chance to get their work out there.

Many many outlets are now available to get your work read and have something in hand in a professionaly produced format

Blogs, online media, ebooks, POD (publish or print on demand)."

Through an online presence he is well published and he can help you do it too.
