Inspiring Team Culture in the Workplace and Removing Partner Titles

Inspiring Team Culture in the Workplace and Removing Partner Titles

Spiritus Law, a Florida-based law firm serving clients in the hospitality and alcohol industries, announced that it is restructuring the firm to better reflect its entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative team culture. The restructuring also showcases an increasing trend of law firms branching out to offer a broader range of services and business counseling to clients.

The firm announced that it is eliminating traditional partner titles to promote a more team-oriented culture. New titles focus on enhancing collaboration and include Team Manager, Team Leader, Team Coordinator, Team Administrator, Team Assistant, and Teammate. Attorney compensation will support and promote entrepreneurial effort in building business at all levels rather than just for partners.  Additionally, the firm’s compensation schedule for paralegal and administrative positions will continue to include mid and year-end bonus incentives and monthly MVP awards, which are practices the firm adopted in 2021.  The firm is also moving to a peer-review evaluation process that will include a review of immediate administrative supervisors.
