It'd be impossible to not touch on the NJRB incident over the weekend, so we share some early thoughts on the situation, the league, and the response from the Red Bulls and their player/manager. We also get into the game that was Atlanta vs NYCFC in the Bronx. We weren't able to keep Almada quiet, and it was definitely a draw that felt like a loss.

We're above the playoff line, but we're headed to Miami. Every result we needed went our way this weekend and every game remains a must-win. Luckily, all 3 of our remaining games our against teams below us, allowing us to control our playoff destiny.

I guess we're back! (this might age poorly) But, after the slow start and a penalty that put us ahead, we looked like the old NYCFC, the good NYCFC, the confident NYCFC. Baki got his goal, Jasson was a killer on the right wing, and Talles scored for the first time in 5 MONTHS. Let's keep rolling.

There are a lot of questions and speculation in the NYCFC community about the club and Cushing. Is his job safe? Is the club punting away 2023? We thought the break might fix NYCFC, but we're still where we were when we left. The new guys have arrived but the results are the same. With 9 games left in the season the playoff hopes are dwindling and there aren't much positives to look towards at the moment.
