The Masked Podcasters have put aside the Not Insane Podcast for the time being. However, this is no mere podfade. We are instead focusing our energies on a new, more powerful podcast to be announced shortly. Shortly-ish. Whenever we get to it.

    Not Insane 2008-04-21: Skeksi Voices
For security reasons, the Masked Podcasters have long shrouded their very voices in a protective cloud of static cunningly disguised as restaurant background noise. In an unprecedented display of personal daring, our Cogent Compadres boldly step through this haze and proudly issue their collective barbaric yawps over the rooftops of the world. Whatever the heck they mean by that.

So now, you (the audience... if that is your REAL name) can bask in their unvarnished brilliance (because brilliance is so much better before the varnish goes on) of the Masked Podcasters' transcendental sanity as they discuss Markov chains, Apple II computers (a-gain-- but this time in new excruciating detail!), the Monty Hall problem, whether or not there's a special place in hell for audio engineers (there is), and whether or not parenthetical interjections make everything better (they do, but actually we don't discuss that on the podcast).

    Oldthinkers unbellyfeel.

    Not Insane 2008-03-20: Waste Land

    Not Insane 2008-03-20: Waste Land
In this episode, Masked Podcaster 2 starts to talk about Wasteland, and doesn't stop. I'm terribly sorry. The story involves... receipts. I don't want to think about it.

As brief, merciful respites in the onslaught of horror, we digress onto increasingly bizarre topics, including the Chronic Argonauts (again) and whether or not Harlan Ellison would play shuffleboard with Hitler in an alternate universe.

This entire summary is starting to sound like a Mad Lib.

At no point are the Superfriends or Dr. Who mentioned, but Thundarr the Barbarian makes a brief appearance.

In this exciting episode of the Not Insane Podcast, our Down-To-Earth Duo visit a mysterious island populated by barbarians, princesses, and furry humanoids. There, they form an advertising agency dedicated to driving the world mad, but are stopped by even more mysterious superheroes. At least, that was the dream I had after I fell asleep listening to this episode. Please tell me that the dancing chimpanzees were real. Enjoy.

Not Insane 21: Jason and the Chronic Argonauts
In this exciting episode, MP2 promises to tell us of the adventures of the Chronic Argonauts, then utterly fails to do so. Then they chatter about Season 1 of Lost. Will MP1 go on another skeptical rant? There's only one way to find out!

Well, a bunch of ways, actually. You could just write and ask us.  We don't mind.

    Best Podcast Ever

    Best Podcast Ever
Due to unanticipated technical brilliance, our last podcast entry was an avant-garde masterpiece in the spirit of John Cage's "4:33". However, since the human race is not yet ready for the sheer genius of our oevre, we will be supplementing it with a podcast of a similar title and the same length, but with far inferior content. Enjoy... shortly.
